Mandatory Driver Safety Meetings and Driver Safety Committee are held every quarter. Safety / Compliance topics and company policy updates are communicated regularly via off-duty texts, handouts and check stuffers.

We maintain an extensive Third-Party Vehicle Inspection Program. A local vendor provides DOT inspections for new hires, post roadside inspections with violations, post repair inspections, vehicles designated for quarterly inspection and other incident-specific inspections required by Safety/Compliance staff.
-
Safety/Compliance staff manage driver and staff training modules including a variety of industry-related and DOT required training from a variety of sources (JJ Keller, National Safety Council, US Compliance Systems, DISA Global Solutions). These include videos, webinars, seminars, reference library materials and hands-on training in the field. Topics include new hire training, vehicle maintenance and inspection, multiple safe driving topics, CSA review categories, Hazardous Materials Training and numerous related topics.
-
Accident Review Process. A Truck Express Management, Safety / Compliance Staff, Dispatch Staff, Drivers and Driver Safety Committee review accidents to provide a complete review of proper procedures, training opportunities to avoid future occurrences and to provide appropriate feedback to driver base if recurring trends are identified.
